It very much depends on the driver but I'm thinking I will be approaching 40k miles before my original needs replacing so if you are considering a car with close to 30mm it should have a fair bit of life in it.

Oh it gets used properly;-)



The thing that causes the wear is riding or slipping the clutch. If you avoid this the clutch is very, very durable. There's another car in the UK that's at around 45k miles on the original.

amazing shifting 993rsr.

is the clutch read electronically? like the F1 or egear?

The clutch is read via an access panel beneath the rear undertray. You measure the gap with a vernier caliper and that gives you a clutch thickness reading.
