I've done a 180 on this car...the more I read, the more I like...
Looked at the torque map on the porsche site yesterday...full 530ft lbs of torque available from 2250 rpm = flat sustained gut left behind torque. The only other car I experienced that in was the old Ruf550...and you guys know I missed that one big time.
Quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Porsche worked with Ruf on this one (same 3.6 liter engine, same torque curve exactly, slightly more hp....its too close and proven not to have been collaborated methinks)
Sooo, a complete turnaround from my initial impression...if they stick to 500 units worldwide it will retain its value while giving a kick arse driving experience.
Put a deposit down and got the first slot at my dealer

I've got just 4 cars left for my garage. 1 guy won't sell. 1 of them I'm scared to buy because most good ones are in Britain and nothing good comes out of Britain. 1 of em is 100k overpriced for the 2 or 3 available and one of them I can't afford
Plus the wife wants another addition to the home
so Arch's and Contractors will be getting my play funds right now.
