This has probably been answered somewhere else or considered general knowledge... But what platform is the GT3/GT3RS built on? This is one of my alltime favorite Porsches and I want to know more about it. I know all the basic specs that you can find off a dealer spec sheet, but is there any more in-depth knowledge someone can give me about it?

are all built on the "911" platform. The "911" platform is made by Porsche.
