Well, after much thought and going back and forth, I decided to part ways with my beloved Pumpkin RS...but only because its being replaced by a Grey/Red one coming in this month

I thought long and hard about keeping it, but realistically didn't think I would drive it near enough...its probably better served being in another enthusiasts home and having the wheels driven off it ! Really love this car and thought I was going to keep it...but I don't think its that different from the gen II to justify keeping both. Someone will land a sweet RS with a good chunk off original msrp

Here are some shots I took today before it was driven off....the car is at Porsche of Nashville...it is absolutely perfect with 2500 miles. If anyone is interested in an '08 RS this one is fits the bill...needs nothing.

It's sad you have to part, but the new 911 RS seems like it has a world of difference from such a small update!

Would have done the same thing. There is quite a lot of diff with the 997.2 to me at least.

 

Sad to see it go, gorgeous car. RS.2 better be nice.
