As excited as I am for this car, I fail to understand why Porsche even consider to come out with this extreme version? Did the owners of the previous 997GT2 had complained about their car being under power or too heavy? Or did Nissan really pissed off Porsche? Or did they think they can actually boost the demands of this car over the suffering sells of the previous 996/997GT2 ? Especially at $250K+ price tag.
It is a cool car though........

While I tend to agree, when will we quit saying that? Aren't we saying this all the time about the next great car that comes out? After the 918, what is next and next and next? When will the last legend no longer be a legend?

And I also believe that Nissan pissed off Porsche. The big kid on the playground might get punched once, but you will wish you weren't the guy that punched.
