The Carrera GT Picture Thread!
#1521
Hi guys,
Ok so although I am a Ferrari guy through and through, i drove my Carrera GT for the first time this weekend. Let me tell you the bad parts first.
1) Even though I am a skilled driver wow that clutch is tight combined with the fact that it comes out of the bottom of the car at a funny angle, you need to be way up in the seat and the clutch is very heavy and engages very high means i stalled twice and was embarassed. The good news is that i heard that all great drivers did the same thing
2) If you have a watch on you cannot put hte parking brake down
3) Any sloped roads o high entry to the driveway and you are screwed (oh do i love the lift on my other car
4) While at dinner we got a rain storm that rivaled a flood that would have needed Noahs Ark. It took me about an hour to get home froma 2 miles away as i weaved down sidestreets looking for dry ground.
Ok now for the good part. HOLY CRAP!!!! what a fun tight car to drive. Once you are in it you are really in it!!!! I enjoyed every damn minute and used the dumbest excuses to get off the couch to "NEED TO GET SOMETHING" just so i had an excuse to drive the car. IT was such a fun ride. Everyone I saw loved the car except for my neighbors who watch me do laps like it was the Indy 500.
