If it comes with A91, it is a completely redesigned GT2, since it no longer has a racing block, but a pedestrian wet sumper found now EVEN in the Turbo's.

No one ever said this was a redesigned model, just an update (face-lift) of the current 997 GT2.

I think the OP that I was replying to was expecting to see the new 991. This car is an update, although it could be a thorough update, of the 997.1 GT2.

It's STILL a 997. So why would there be a total redesign?!

- There wouldn't.

I am surprised to see people shocked at the minimal changes. Same changes from 997.1 TT to 997.2TT... A minor face lift and update, that's all. I think it's a fine car and will still probably be different when it's actually unveiled.

^What he said. Hell, I got one in the garage and I see differences about as comparable as the 997.1 to .2 change. No shock at all. Now, I expect the motor to hurt quite a few production cars. The turbo S will get to 60 in 2.8. Wonder on this deal?

I would definitely get that color combo. Without the red lips on the wheels. Exhaust tips are too small. Need to be big like GMG's.
