The RS wears the old style mirrors as they homologated them in carbon for mass production. To avoid new homologation for the bigger ones, they used old style.
So they are smaller because they are carbon

I like how they opened up the rear at the exhaust. My 08 GT2 would get so hot it would melt the plastic. It's good for more room.
