Without saying too much, the reports in magazines and any rumors that the car is dead are false. The GT2 is coming and I have been told as such. I don't know the exact day, or type of motor, just that the car is being released.

It's the motor block developed by the Porsche legend Hans Mezger.
In the GT cars you still find the "old" motor blocks (non-DFI) from the 993/GT1. It's the last engine he made for Porsche.
Mezger also developed the Porsche formula 1 engines for the team TAG McLaren.
