do the GT2RS have the Gen2 (bigger) side mirror housings, or the Gen1? Anybody know that?

They've got the bigger gen 2 versions. Wish they had the smaller gen 1 variants though.

 

If I do recall though didn't a lot of early examples have the gen 1 mirrors?















I got these pictures from way back 200 pages or more in the thread. It's weird because most of them have the gen 1 mirrors back in the thread, but a lot still have the gen 2 mirrors. Maybe it was only the press cars that got the gen 1 mirrors?

 

I asked myself many times the same question..I also think that mainly the first press cars had the 997.1 mirrors, all customer cars should have 997.2 ones.

At first I didnt like the 997.2 mirrors - on my first GT3 I had the 997.1 - now I have 997.2 mirrors on my newer cars - I have to admit that the 997.1 ones were a bit small.you didnt see so much..it reminded me a bit of the oldtimer cars I own. I now prefer 997.2 ones..dont kill me for this
