I don't think you have to be that fast at all, a 100mph wipe out with a side impact on a tree will pretty much do it.

That's absolutely terrible news. So sad to see things like that. It looks like they hit it sideways. Oh man, I feel bad for their families.

Thought: Zero speed ejection seats in cars wouldn't be such a bad idea........ ehhh probably is a bad idea.

I hope they didnt have any kids, as they are both dead now and no parent to raise them, secondly i will say a prayer for their families.

This serves a reminder to the rest of us to drive safe and drive smart. We all pay the price for being car nuts and speed freaks, unfortunetley this couple paid the ultimate price.

sometimes at like 150mph on the Autobahn I think about crashes like this one and realize that one little problem could end my life in the very next second..

That's absolutely terrible! They must've really been booking it to rip right through the cage too. The only consolation here is that their deaths were probably painless given the speed and severity of the impact. RIP
