959s are incredible. The only thing that looks dated are parts of the interior. Such an amazing car...

When the 959 was announced, I placed an order and got on the waiting list.
Nearly a year later, I received a brochure on the car from Porsche.
The brochures were in such limited quantities that the photos were actually glued onto the pages, instead of printed.
I saved the brochure and framed it. Since there is such interest in the car, I will see about unmounting it and scanning it to share here on Teamspeed.

I sold my place in line when the currency shifted the wrong way.
But I have always loved the car.

 

What an iconic piece of Porsche history! Amazing that this car used mid eighties technology.
