That's a very interesting viewpoint you have about the CGT because I think it's one of the few modern cars out there that can match the thrill of driving the older stuff.
Great taste with picking the Muira though. I've gotta say if I could only pick one vintage car, it'd be this:

To be honest i've always been underwhelmed by the CGT - it's a good looking car but i don't lust after one at all - it has no visual presence on the road in my opinion. It does sound phenomenal and i'm sure handle and go as well as it should do however, for it's price tag there are many other cars i'd take over one.
One-third throttle from a stoplight turning right or left and you're slightly sideways. One half throttle from a stoplight straight and the 335's underneath your butt are shrieking and spinning. On ramp, full throttle, close to top of third gear, 160 kms. lift slightly and rear starts to drift to the right.
Tell me it's underwhelming under those conditions.

It is amazing how the CGT's razor edged experience can make even a GT2/GT3, or for that matter, many exotics feel somewhat mundane. The Carrera GT is the last of an era that we'll never see again from a major manufacturer.
As far as the CGT's on road presence, its sleak appearance is most impressive, yet still captures the essence of the 911 in many of its design elements. I've owned one for nearly 5 years, and each time I look at it, I find new attributes to admire.

It is a shame indeed, If I have the means there will be no WAY IN HELL, I wouldn't own one and I'll definitely be taking some skip barber classes in anticipation of it's arrival

Despite not driving it as much as I'd like, I don't think that will be a problem.
I bought the car with the intention of keeping it forever. It is not something that I'd ever want to part with.
There is no excitement without a little fear.
