918 Spyder looks like a halo car inside and out PERIOD!

 

A.) Limiting production, in theory, makes it more "desirable." McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, they all do the same thing—and most of them set their limits much lower.

B.) Porsche is smart enough to know how many of these cars they can realistically sell. The global market for a new million-dollar Porsche supercar is probably right around 1,000 units; hold it to 918 or so, and you prevent the embarrassment of having more examples than you can sell.

Besides, I'm sure if a loyal Porsche customer came to them with a million bucks cash and found himself number 919 in line...they'd find a way to build him one.
