What replaces the Carrera GT?







Another Carrera GT silly! If you've not already done so- BUY one... you won't regret it!

Too bad the $$$ isn't just laying around somewhere too

Welcome to the team...there are a few articles floating around, one from car and driver in fact mentioning a new super car is in the plans but I am thinking if anything 2013.

I know I will take slack for this but I see nothing wrong with you getting a Gemballa CGT if that's what you like but the stock one is still perfection if you can find the right one.

 

If I was a CGT owner looking to sell, I would force the buyer to sign a contract prohibiting him from taking it to Gemballa.

 

If we ever see another supercar from Porsche, it will not be as raw and direct as the CGT. We have seen the last of the era of cars that are built without significant safety nets to conform to the abilities of a broader range of drivers. Though a successor might be "faster" we will never see another car from Porsche that provides the knife edge feeling that the CGT does. Even the most extreme of the production 911s (GT3, GT2) feel like piloting a mundane sedan by comparison.

As far as the Mirage GT, it is an utter disgrace and an insult.

 

IMHO; Nothing sounds as good as a Carrera GT. Nothing.
