Matte Black Carrera GT Photoshoot - 27 images Photographed it several weeks ago in New Orleans. I was counting on another location for the session, but 15 minutes before I was scheduled to shoot, I discovered the area I was counting on was now off limits. So I had to scurry to find a new location. Luckily, a train restoration yard not a mile down the road offered some pretty amazing backdrops, and the manager there turned out to be a car guy, so three minutes before the car was handed over to me for the day, I secured the location. Whew.
The shoot ultimately took several more hours than I was expecting, simply because of the unevenness of the ground; made driving extremely slow going. But the rail yard was full of interesting subjects to park the car against, so I didn't mind the delays. I'm particularly fond of the juxtaposition between the vintage stainless steel image of speed with the train, and the futuristic alien flat black interpretation of speed with the Porsche.
