Great work, Alex, James and Dan!

I just want to know why Pete got 1000 miles in it and I only got to take it around the block when Todd was finished tuning it?!

Cheers

I just got the mag, and It seems like your engine work is spectacular. Amazing job guys!

"Put simply, it's the best normally-aspirated flat six I've ever tried. That ranks it up there with my top two Porsche engines of all time: the 469+ hp, twin-turbo flat six in 1988's Ruf CTR and the 605-hp, 5.7 liter v10 in 2004's Carrera GT."
WOW!! That is high praise!

PS I have always loved the porsche speedsters, and once came across a gorgeous one off 993 speedster. There is a great article about that in the mag as well. Simply stunning.

Doh! This one was real special for us... we wanted them to basically live with the car. Use it and throw any situation they wanted at it and hence the 1300 miles

Yes sir and thanks to you know who:P The 10's subtle suspension improvements do really make for a more settled drive on those roads eh She did well and at least with the exhaust on there she sounded nice. We were having fun driving both at the same rpm's with that "humm". I still owe you Kermit don't I

Haha... that's true... Well your driving is one thing but Senior Zuccone But seriously thanks so much for all the time, effort, energy, enthusiasm (oh and tuning/skill) and support for the whole 3.9 project. Could never have done it without ya!

Thank you so much. It was a really tough, tough test but we didn't want to shy away from it and they really do know their 911s over there.

We'll be here and if it's NA or TT'd we'll be happy to play

For the guys that haven't seen it.. here's the journey of that whole 3.9 thing (there's a lot of neat footage with the live tuning too):
