This thread makes me hurt inside.

Anyone know, is the 997GT2 clutch as heavy as the 996GT2 clutch?

^ You're too old to have a car with a spoiler.

Lack of Sport Chrono and the seats reduce value of this particular car. Still, the interior is great and car is a good value here.

I'm curious. Why do people say "never been tracked" ?????? Does it hurt the car to drive it around a track like it was meant to do? Is it worth less because it drove on the track?

of course it wears more on the car if its used regulary at the track, but my experience is that people that track their cars take very good care of them, service them more then what says in the book, change oil often, brake fluid, go through the whole car often etc. I wouldn mind buying a car that was tracked alot if its well taken care of, as you said, a GT2 is ment to be driven on track!

wrong seats, but other than that it`s gorgeous!

personally I`d prefer to buy a preowned car which has not seen the track yet

I wanna be the one to kick this cars ass for the first time

good luck with the sale!

SC is one of those things where I see a lot of people order cars with it, but in the secondary market people could care less, or visa versa. It's a 50/50 shot if it's the right decision.

As far as tracking goes, unless (in most cases that Ive witnessed) you personally know the former owner who's tracked the car- a lot of people want to be the first one to set the rubber on the track. Especially with the GT2's people want to make sure its not beaten on .

Admittedly the car does have a little 'bling' on it for a GT2, still someone is going to get a monster of a car.

I don't get people buying Porsche GT cars in "luxo spec". The stitching - fine. Carbon fiber bits - fine. But adaptive seats??

If I ever get my GT3, it'll have some interesting stitching and that's about it.
