Is it really that big of a deal to get caught driving a non-public-road-legal-car on a public road? I mean, what's the worst thing that could happen? Would the cops even get mad? Look at it!! They'd go "Sir, do you know why we pulled you over? BECAUSE OOZING OF THIS MUCH AWESOME CANT POSSIBLY BE LEGAL!!!"

I think they are built to different regulations as the R is made specifically for FIA GT3 racing(RSR, ALMS&LMS) which I think manufacturers are putting more focus into since audi made the V10 R8 mainly for this series and the Matech Ford GT(now GT1) destroyed the field last year.

And I think there is much potential in the FIA-GT3 class with this car. Just look what Manthey did at the 24h Nürburgring with the Cup S - pretty impressive
I think it would be the right step to focus on the FIA-GT3 in the actual situation - especially when you look at the costs....
