CGT's in general have held up well....the doomsdayers predicting sub 200k prices were way off the mark.

The black car discussed here is a fair buy at 385-410k methinks....rare colour (1 of 38 or so ?) mint condition...I think NYC123 and Kuzi are right on the money.

A few CGT's left the USA and went to europe...more than a few have been crashed and dinged hard...that leaves fewer "no story" well maintained/good clutch cars to choose from. I think the CGT will hold up well price wise because of these factors as well as the fact that, well, its a sick car !!!

If ever a car demanded a ppi pre-purchase, the CGT is it...

I think the other factor that will keep nice condition CGT around 300k or higher is the Ferrari market. The new 430 replacement is coming out at around $250k I believe for a coupe with no options. I assume that will put a cab with options easily over $300k. and while I am sure the new 430 replacement will be a very nice car it will be a regular production car that will in a few years be replaced with another model just as the 360 then 430 was. So I think the CGT is special enough that when you go to look at a 458 cab at 320 in a yr and you can buy a CGT at a similar price it is an easy choice

 

By the way, the black car shown is missing the right rear brake cooling duct ring...you guys know how particular I am about that

Yes only a true pro would pick that up!
Only thing that'd make this Blk/Blk CGT hotter would be the Carbon fiber interior option IMHO.
