My new ’05 Carrera GT!

Nicely done Tim. Your initial comments sound EXACTLY like mine from when I took delivery one month ago. I've driven plenty of nasty cars in the past, but learning to drive this one is like learning a new hobby altogether. It's a if I am snowboarding (or doing something else that I have never done). Each time I take it out, I hope to get a little better. Then I have to do it again before too much time passes, or else I will regress. Make sense???
Regardless, like Jas said, enjoy it in the best of health.

I saw Dan's post a while ago before I finalized the deal and it made me shiver a little! I don't think he was looking for a Basalt car..., but just the same... ;-)

Also, for the life of me, I can't tell when the exhaust baffles open. It does have baffles, doesn't it? My F430 Spider used to open around 3500 rpm and was night and day. Maybe I just haven’t given it enough throttle yet. Of course, given my first post above, it may be a while before I get comfortable enough with it to give it another good kick in the pants. :-)
