Mine comes in very handy at times. I think it's useful but mine does 2 inches or about 50mm.

I would say do it... On my Superleggera, I can basically go through anything with the car lifted. Have it ordered on my RS. Video of the front axle lift in action below...

Waste and adding weight , u can negotiate most driveways with a 3 on an angle.
