Hi guys, here are some pictures of the one mile run in South Florida this past Saturday.













Our cars line up on the event:

1999 Porshe 996: Stock - 153mph
2007 Gallardo: Twin Turbo 1100hp 197mph (car could have gone faster but we had to turn down the boost)
2009 Vette Z06: Stock 173mph
2007 Gallardo Stock - did not run (Sharpie Car, only for show)
2006 Viper 926hp - did not run ( Supercharged problems with tunning)
2008 Vette C6 494hp - 171mph (Hearders, intake, cam, ECU)

 

Yoan, who did the wrap for your trailer? It came out great.

Coming out to watch mostly.. My evos are not really setup for that type of racing but i will be building 1 pretty soon for this.. Look forward to meeting you as well..

Those wheels really do set off that sharpee g-car. Looks even better in real world shots than in the shop. Great stuff!

 

How did this event run, compared to the Oct. 11th event?

 

Although i wasnt there i hear it was MUCH MORE organized.. The 1st event was using radar guns to measure top speed which isnt exactly accurate.. The top gun run i was told had much more accurate timing lights.. Im hoping 1 day it can become a sanctioning land speed organization.. We have the spot to do it and the demand for it..

Yes it was, a lot more organized...it would be sweet if we can have a regular event like that.
