This could have been the GT3...
We decided to not take the GT3 at the last moment because we wanted to do some shopping after lunch. Wife and I went out on Saturday, we were at the end of a line of cars stopped for a red light at a intersection when this Chevy Blazer plows into the rear of our car, no brakes at all. He must of been doing at least 30 ~ 35mph. We were both shaken up with back and stomach pain and taken to the Hospital for eval. Lucky no lasting effects??? The other driver had 2 kids with him, He was cited for using his Cell phone, causing the accident.
At 1st I was just shaken but now I'm mad at how stupid some people are.
I just hope the Car is totaled. The pictures really don't reflect how bad it looks in person. I walk away from this with a better appreciation for my family and how things can change in a flash.

Good to hear everyone is alright. It amazes me how bad people are at driving, cell phones or not. They just don't pay attention. Just five minutes ago on my way home the guy in front of me was not payiing attention, saw the left turn lane moving and just accelerated without looking up and nearly broadsided the on-coming left hand turn lane (only the turn lane had the green). That is unfortunate about your new car, but at least it wasn't the gt3...

Man Dave, I am so glad you and the family are o.k. for now. Sometimes whiplash takes several days to really show its effect.. These cell phones are really a pain in the A$$ especially in the hands of the younger people. I still see them texting, while driving, all the time eventhough it became illegal in California to use while operating a motor vehicle.. Take care Pal~Kenny

Very sorry to see that, but glad to hear that you and your family are okay. Damned cell phones! I live in CA, and have been hit by a drunk driver, in the rain, that was on his cell phone; the worst part was that it was raining and I knew the guy! I totally know what you mean and how you feel bro. Just be glad you were driving that very safe Audi, and not the very safe (and very expensive) GT3. That would have given me reason to get out and bust some heads...
