aerodynamics
Hey guys, I have a serious inquiry. For those of us not smart enough to have slapped down the extra 30k for a GT3, knowing full well as soon as we (ok, I) drove my beautiful C2S off the lot I was already going to want to upgrade, is there an aerodynamic advantage to the rear fascia?
I understand the need for the GT3 to have the brake cooling ducts, and of course the center cut for the specific exhaust. But when the cars are wind tunnel tested, does the GT3 specific rear fascia provide any aerodynamic necessity?
The reason I ask is because I want to upgrade my 997.1 body work to the 997.2 GT3 front fascia with the 997.1 GT3RS wing (I know, I know...you purists, which is usually me too, want to throw me off the forums, but just take your emotions out of it!), but I DON'T like the GT3 rear at all, I really prefer my C2S rear fascia.
ANy thoughts??

Unless you are driving the car over 100mph daily and tracking I don't think (do not hold me to this just an onion) you will notice to much disruption in down-force with that combo. That being said have you explored the possibility of the 997.2 parts fitting on a 997.1 car? If not I would pm the Suncoast Porsche guys on this.
