Spotted this, needs the story ...

i was driving back from Arizona to CA March 22, at 9pm we pull over for some gas in the middle of nowhere, and on the on-ramp i see this:

anyone have a clue as what this might have been? all i see is a Porsche in racing trim, and no. 3 on it

+1. Depending on which version of the GT3 Cup car it was, it was either racing in the GT3 Cup series or Grand Am. It could've been coming from Sebring but I kind of doubt it.

Why is the door/ramp down like that while the hauler is on the freeway?

I was asking myself the same Q! they were having problems of some sort, with the hauler...maybe the tools to repair it were inside, next to the p-car?!? thats the best explanation i can conjure - regardless, i took the opportunity to snap a pic, and drive off into the night...
