For anyone interested, registration for the 2008 Carrera Panamericana opens soon. The Unlimited Class has released a new web site with lots of information about the event, how to apply, and get in and out of Mexico:

Of particular note, at about 5:15 in to the video, you see some "over the shoulder" shots in a Dodge Charger. That's from INSIDE a cop car during the race.
