I got a call yesterday morning - white one, loaded w/PCCBs, leather, nav, etc. My dealer (HBL) called and asked if I was interested. By the time I could get there, it had just been sold to a dude trading in his '09 R8. His car was a $140K sticker R8 and he only got $100K for it... ouch. Anyway, it's SICK in person and sounds great. It is easily the sweetest car Porsche has made since the CGT. So yes they're out there, and no, I didn't take delivery... yet.

Is it true that the US spec Porsches are a bit louder,because the Euro spec cars have to meet certain EU standards?

 

Are you getting one before Monterey, Chris? That'd sure spice up the road trip!

 

I can't say I like this car in black. Makes it just look ho hum and typical but the silver looks awesome. Chris if you get Monterrey I'm flying out for a ride

 

$40K+ hit in less than a year, ouch is right!!! I thought R8s held up quite well.
