First U.S. drive of the GT2!!

Motortrend likes it better than the Carrera GT

This is the first tests of the stunning GT2 by Motortrend.

Heres the link

Thanks for the heads up.
I wonder if Porsche will adapt the "Launch Assistant" to the 'regular' TT. Perhaps it's only amenable to the RWD GT2 and not AWD???

Good read. Thanks for sharing...I thought this was pretty compelling:

"On our exclusive figure-eight test, the GT2 left us awestruck, circling the course in only 22.9 seconds. That's quicker than the Carrera GT. Quicker than the Ferrari Enzo. Quicker, in fact, than any street-legal car we've ever tested."

carnerd is an unknown quantity at this point
Makes sense. Even the man himself (Walter Rohl) said it was much easier to drive consistently fast. Absolutely stunning car!

true, but it's a toss-up as to which one is uglier!

i'm hoping the gt2 is just not photogenic but that rear end is nasty.

it might be heresy on this board, but white has never done much for me.

the intercooler slits (and bumper slits) are what really bug me - i tend to like the big open look of the 996tt and 997tt's but i suppose the smaller slits would increase air velocity. reminds me of hyundai tiberon styling
