For some reason,I can`t really trust dealerships when it comes to leaving my car at them.
It`s a necessary evil though...hope they treat your CGT well and don`t abuse it on "extended test drives"

To answer some of the questions:

This is not the 78 mile car out of VA......its the 7100 mile car from the same place. I got a more then fair deal I believe.......considering the overall condition of the car. Especially that clutch.

This is my local authorized Porsche dealer and I have known the service manager for going on 15 years. They are very reputable and no one takes thrill rides unless permission is given. I told Jeff (SM) yesterday when it arrived to take the car out and put some miles on her and report back to me on how it drove. Glowing report is what I got. I'm happy with that. I trust the guy emplicitely.

I'm just glad it arrived safely so now the wait for servicing won't be as agonizing.

 

If you need a second opinion I'll tell you how it drives.
