What happens if you want aftermarket track wheels for the car? Do you end up having to buy another set of the OEM wheels since they are Center lock? That would be major $$

I would assume that the usual suspects (HRE, Champion, BBS) will have something for the center lock hubs.

^ i would hope so, but it would be a costly venture for them to make a line of wheels just for a limited production car like the GT3. i was going to say Champion would be the best bet, but with them in chapter 11 who knows what their future is like.

something about these wheels puts me off. id much prefer a champion rs171 in black and a slight drop in ride height (and the car in black).

What would prevent someone from putting "real" racing centerlock wheels on the car? ie, BBS E88's in gold on a white car

assuming they came in the right fitments for the gt3, then nothing. would have to be the right diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, hub size, etc.

but i was talking about companies who don't currently make "real" racing centerlock wheels - HRE, Champion, and most BBS models.

I don't know what the GT3 fitment is nor what E88 specs are, but that'd be great if they fit. Also a fan of gold on black cars.
