I think those are the new standard 2pc cast iron discs. PCCB is still an option I believe.

any news on allocations?
word from two local dealers is that they are not expecting to receive many units and the list of customers with deposits is long

A dealer a couple hours north of Seattle said that they have 12 people with deposits but said that many of them are carry overs that could not get a mk1 or passed on the opportunity but wanted to remain on the list

A dealer just east of Seattle said that they are only expecting 1-2 mk2 units...

do you all foresee these being hard to get and the typical over msrp mess of a new model introduction?

we are already potentially sold out based on our share of national 911 sales. your dealer is correct, in that we have already been told that we should expect a pretty small volume of cars for N.A. Sales. Gt3 Allocation has always been based on 911 volume, so with reduced MY09 sales due to allocation cuts and the you know what hitting the fan, we will see fewer cars built. All of our depositors came in the Day the car went public with cash in hand to lock them in.

The allocations on everything has been cut a lot...which is good given the economy, cars sitting, and resale. My dealer is only getting 3 TT's this year even.

Damn...
my dealer also said that if he had to place a bet on a mk2 RS -- just a guess -- he thinks they will... hmmmm

In my case finding and allocation will be easier than convincing my wife
but honey look at that rear end... better a car than another woman
but honey A 3.8!!! come on
but honey dynamic motor mounts!!! don't be a wet blanket

all of the 529 account deposits are worth nothing
the market is tanking
there is no better time than right now!!!!

My fingers are crossed but it might have to be a "easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" situation... but that approach might cost me half of everything and child support

ohh well - thanks for the info.
