Hello everyone,
First post here. Anyway, this is taken from the Porsche GT2 Dealer Demo video. At around 6:38 on the vid, the narrator states that:

- "This is the first time that Launch Assistant is used on a road going Porsche"
- "A system designed to maximize acceleration from a standing start."
- "To activate the function, simply depress the clutch and accelerator pedals when the vehicle is at rest."
- "When the boost pressure rises to approximately 0.9 bar, release the clutch as quickly as possible... and forget everything you thought you knew about propulsion "
- "Traction is maintained under acceleration with the aid of a all new anti-slip regulation function."
- "Wheelspin is controlled via the engine management system, thereby avoiding unnecessary clutch wear."

Oh man, what a car !

I got a vid of GT2 dropping the clutch at 5000 without launch control... then with launch control. It's a pretty dramatic difference.

LOL I can imagine, I need it for my car. If I dropped the clutch at 5 grand in my car, My tires would melt off then as soon as it hooked, my back end would be swinging in any which way it wanted
