Some of these GT2's are great deals, most, NOT.. Lots of hidden stories, forums members will uncover anything, post it up if you are serious in buying a specific one i'll get you every stitch of info about it!
I'll take you up on that offer, much appreciated. I have thought about this more and more and I know its a death trap but I'm gonna handle it the same way I handled the turbo at 16: start slow there's nobody to impress, stay within comfort zone at all times.

I have done a few DEs when I had the Turbo. I want to buy this car so I learn to drive with no electronic aids so I will be doing as many DE/AutoX as possible. Look I love driving as much as anybody on here, I may not be great at it, but I am willing be patient and dedicate the time to mastering this skill in this vehicle and I am in no rush to set the fastest lap time. I just want something that will make me good enough to drive most anything on the edge.

IMO go for a 996 GT3 as I feel it will be much more rewarding for you, the GT2 is simply way too fast to exploit all or even most of it's limits! You can always get a GT2 down the line when you are more comfortable with the bare bones platform/thrill ride..
