This car is not an exotic at all! It is not worth the price. I own several other exotic cars, and this is the worst! I enjoy my BMW M Roadster better. Here's why. I am not a huge fan of the design. I was hoping to do a longer road test, since I "heard" that the performance was "good". But, the dealer would only let me try it on traffic laden streets for around 2.5 miles. I THOUGHT it might do better, and so I enthusiastically bought it. Now, I regret it. I sold the car around 5 months after I purchased it for around 65% of the original value. I bought a Mercedes Benz AMG, and it is 500% better. Do not get this exotic want-to-be!
Favorite Features
The navigation system is great! The fuel economy is pretty good, too. I averaged around 24 mpg. The steering wheel was gorgeous, too.
Suggested Improvements
Redesign the car. I hated the design; I bought the car only for the performance reason, since around 5 people (who I don't think own the car) told me it was phenomenal. Also, make bluetooth standard.

He probably wasn't driving the GT2 hard enough to enjoy it, assuming this is even a true story...
How do you go from a GT2 to an AMG anything, they're not even the same class. That's like saying you liked the Hummer 2 better than the Prius.

This guy sounds like he is full of sh!t. If his number one reason is that he "hates the design" than he must hate all 911s and in that case all Porsches. Sounds like a biased review to me and this is somebody who should not be reviewing sports cars. The car probably scared him, but he doesn't want to admit to it.
By the way he bought it after being told he could only test drive it in traffic??? And by the was the M Roadster is not an exotic and probably neither is the AMG he replaced the 'GT2' with.

Obviously, this tester is an idiot. It's not meant to be a commuter car. It truly is a supercar, but you have to be able to drive it well enough to extract the GT2's potential in order to truly enjoy it. Many parts of this review that just simply don't make sense. Why would you buy a car solely for its performance even though you hated the styling and then give it bad marks for its looks? More importantly, why would you buy a track-oriented race car for the street and then not even make an effort to drive it on the track and just complain about how boring it is in traffic?
On the plus side, he sold it and took a 35% hit so hopefully someone who actually wanted one in the first place got a good bargain!

I have been driving my GT2 as the only car for work since the beginning of this year.
Somehow I am able to "use the performance" everyday, even in traffic.
And M? Is he joking? Brakes on the M would long disintegrate before brakes on the GT2 even has to do any work.
Not to mention they are dog slow in the league of GT2.
