VIDEO: GT2 vs Murcie
#23
thanks for the kind words...
to answer some questions...
yes the murcie is a manual
its actually a US version ('03) model. stock, other than an exhaust, which I forgot to mention in the video. but i don't think an exhaust would make a big difference?
according to my friend who was riding shotgun in the GT2, the Porsche could have gone quicker, 'cept the driver shifted awkwardly a couple times.
nevertheless, i have videos of the same Murcie with a stock 997TT, and in the higher gears, the Lambo walks away from the Porsche. so to say a Murcielago is "slow" can't be entirely accurate either
of course all these things are relative![HappyDance](https://teamspeed.com/forums/images/smilies/teamspeed/HappyDance.gif)
someone with a new GTR with HKS' 570HP kit phoned up recently wanting to try one of these friendly roll-ons with the GT2.
watch this space boys and girls!

maybe we'll have a go with the GT2 purely for fun and for video posterity, as the Ruf would obviously win.
there was one drive some time ago with a friend's EVOMS GT700, and it looked pretty even to me, though it wasn't a side-by-side-- just informal stuff on a long open highway.
another friend with a GT700 rode shotgun with me and commented that up at the higher RPM's, he felt the Ruf pulled harder than his car. maybe its a butt dyno thing because of the RT12's higher redline? in any case, nothing scientific again, and not the basis of any conclusion. all the #'s i've seen on both cars put them almost dead even...
will document that too (Ruf and EVOMS) soon enough... but am more curious right now about the GTR and GT2
