Scary! Good thing it did not flip.

 

Intense, had that happen to me at 100 with left back tire, and was zigzagging thru the grass median. Almost hit a Semi truck on oncoming traffic.

 

What happened to the windshield?

 

Also, are you sure thats a GT3RS? Looks like 996 dash to me.

 

Sudden pressure differential causes windshield to blow-out.

It's a 996 GT3RS AKA early pre-facelift 996 cup car.

 

That is a 996 GT3RS Race Car at Daytona...I think in 2003. I was there when that happened.

The windshield blows out when you spin at that speed because the cars do not have side windows. When they go sideways at 150+ the cabin becomes pressurized and blows the windshield and rear window out.

And you have to change you shorts after your thanks that you didn't eat the wall at that speed.
