Matte black is a match from Heaven for the 997 GT2, it is the best Matte black car I've seen to date.

Looks great, does anyone know if wrapping a car damages the paint upon removal?

If the company who installs it is reputable and uses a good product, there should be a warranty. The product I've used carries a 5 year warranty and is guaranteed not to damage paint.

Flat black seems to be what everyone is going for lately. Anybody have a rough cost as to how much a wrap is on a pcar?

Sick!
Only change is paint the wheels entirely (the silver lip/barrel does not go with the look IMO)
How much is it to wrap a whole car like that?

I don't mean to sound like an idiot, but exactly is involved in "wrapping" a car vs. paint?

Vinyl type material is laid down and "adhered" to the paint. Much like the installation of a protective film/clearbra. The quality of install can vary tremendously so choose your installer wisely.

To wrap a 996/997 Porsche with a color change only (ie: no graphic design involved) could be anywhere from $2500-$3500.
