There is no difference in the brakes either rotors or pads and the clutch material is the same for either year.

I've heard that there was a software revision at some point to the ECU's ability to 'rev' the engine on engaging the clutch. A friend has an early 2004 car (number 6x) and mine is 263 and his is slightly more tricky to get off the line. Both 2004 cars.
