Carrera GT Carbon Rearview Mirror

We just did this Carbon rear view mirror for one of our loyal Carrera GT customers.

We did the mirror housing in a matte carbon, and covered the surround trim in a black leather that really makes this mirror stand out.

Enjoy the pics.

Looks great Lanes, as usual! Your products are a perfect way to put some final touches on the car.

That is a work of art.

Do you form the CF yourself or do you subcontract that work?

Thanks Dan. On a side note, it's sad that there will no longer be a Canadian GP. I went last year for my first time and had a blast.

This part like most of our Porsche parts is laminated over the original core piece. We own a factory in Belgium where we do all of these parts. We do a lot of the little detail work like the leather on this mirror at our facility in California, where we also do all of our marketing and sales.

Very nice piece.

On a side note, I haven't ordered anything from you guys recently, as I was laid off! My conversions will have to wait.....

We're shipping this out to the customer today. Its going to Calgary so we should have pics - if the customer can get through the snow to where the car is being stored. We're also sending in the same box a shift knob and upper and lower seat trim.

On another note, we're looking for some CGT owners to work with us on the first few custom steering wheels. Feel free to PM Lane or myself.

And sory to hear about the job chardonet. I'm sure something better will present itself soon.

We could do the 997. Or any other car for that matter. The CGT mirror is actually a Benz or Audi unit (both logos are on the inside) and is very simple. We'll have to look at the 997 mirror.
