no driveway inclines but i think of splitters as disposable portions of the car. my RS splitter looks like it hit a meat grinder and I wouldn't have it any other way So that pretty painted thing would be a disaster for me.

Well, I find the front lift saves me from ramps and bumps - maybe you don't have it on yours. As regards general use, I haven't had any problems.

His RS is a MKI (obviously), and no lift system was available.

ya no lifts for me i've had my rs for 2 1/2 years and 13k miles

just general use gets it hammered.

By looking at the pics, the GT3 costs no less than a base RS with your spec, right? I like it!

^ In the US, I think the RS is $20K more (pre-markup?), and most GT3s have $20K in options (NAV, Leather, and CCB will do it right there - then consider front Lift, the dynamic headlights, engine mounts, stitching, CF trim, etc etc). But, someone buying an RS will likely get the same options so it's still $20K+ more.
