Yup, it's actually pretty common to see a GT3 with CGT seats and a cage over in the U.S, as it's a very popular mod.

And the car can be registered with no issues?? Why not allow PNA place it as an option...

When Porsche plans to import a model, say the 997, they have to submit to NHSTA certification. That entails a battery of tests to certify that the car has been approved to drive and be registered on US roads.

Once that is done, if Porsche was to change the basic spec tested to bring in, say a seat with no airbags like the bucket seats, it has to re-apply to have the 997 variant re-certified. It's quite an expensive process so they decided not to bring that feature and offer it for sale.

I bought my factory rs cage and authentic cgt seats used a couple of years ago. Wyatt, I have been great, I heard you are doing well also. I will pm you.
