2008 GT2 or wait until 2010

The next generation is (almost) always better than the previous. However, you could die waiting for the perfect car.
In the case of the GT2, however, they seem to be dropping fast. Any number can be had at list, or slightly less, and I'll bet they drop to significantly below for gently used by Xmas.

The only waiting I would do is short term...allowing prices to stabilize. I was on the fence about buying a white 997 GT2 last weekend...my dealer called and they had listed it for $249K (about 49K markup) two weeks previously and then dropped it to $220K in an attempt to entice...the crazy markups are going down fast and hopefully the car does not suffer the same depreciation rate as the 996 GT2...
