I totally agree. It's unfortunate but with all the other amazing options out there the classic pcar look( that I love) is just not catching the eye of future generations...

I know people my age now who still think Porsche's are ugly, which I can't understand at all... but they're not car people.
To me a Porsche is the shining example of where form meets function. You can't really expect the younger generation to appreciate that immediatly, it's a maturity thing.

Here is a closer pic.
Following the recent 997 Carerra, Carrera4 and Targa facelift releases, Porsche is gradually preparing the upper range models. Seen in these latest spy shots of four 911 GT3s taken in Spain, we can see two current GT3 models in yellow and black (far right) plus one silver GT3 RS. The remaining black GT3 is the facelifted model as distinguished by its new facelift tail lights with black tape and smoothly cladded rear bumper fascia hidding the design lines. Also, in comparisons to the current GT3s the GT3 facelift's centrally mounted exhaust pipes look to be larger in diameter with a beveled edge. However, the most noticeable difference is the rear wing, which seems to be a blend of the standard GT3 wing and the GT3 RS wing.

Porsche needs to step up? Or others had stepped up because of Porsche. It's not always about hp and ring times. Who win more races than Porsche and Ferrari? Go to your local track and see which type of cars still dominate. How many people can actually say they can pushed the current GT2/GT3 to the limits. In any case, the next gen. GT3 will be sold out again.

I'd be willing to be we'll all still be saying the same thing 15 years from now.
