GT3/RS Grille Screens DIY
okay, so i really wanted some grille screens to protect the 3 radiators on the front end of my car. but the prices from both GMG ($395) and Cargraphics ($252) was just too much. so, i decided to make my own.
i purchased an Expanded Sheet from OSH for $38.00
these are made of stainless steel and are powder coated black. these are intended for bbq grilles and windows, so hopefully they can with stand rock chips and the weather.

i made a template of the intake with particle board and then cut the grille to fit around it.

tap the grilles with a hammer, until you get the desired shap.

to make things easier, i remove the intake from my bumper. i tested fitted and bent the ends in. then i epoxied the grilles in.

That's a clever DIY!
Since the parts of from a BBQ grill, maybe you can heat up the rotors at the track and then roast a few burgers on the vents trackside!!!!!
Then a few blasts to 150 to jet clean the grill.

just do the other grille and put the bumper back together.
