The rt12 comes with the Ruf 19's.
Ruf 20's are also available as well as the Superleggeras

why does ruf still use the old 996tt engine? i know they don't differ much internally (996 & 997 TT) but is there a reason not to use the newer engine except for the fact the ruf sticks to conventional turbos and not vgts?

they use the vtg's for the lower HP conversions(up to 550 i think) for the higher output applictions they need larger turbos which then interface with less difficulties with the non vtg 996 engine management and electronics

Side note, I've always wondered this. Is RUF pronounced as "rough" or "roof?"
