We just got this new project in that we are going to be taking on and finishing up.

Great car. It's nice to see all of those classics together. When will you be restoring the 99 ford escort?

That escort is super rare, they only made 1/2 a bazillion of them and most for them have already made it to the scrap yard.

We are enjoying getting started on this beautiful gullwing and we hope to have it back up to standards soon. We will keep you updated on it's status.

 

Is it a Fiber Glass body or metal ?

 

It is fiberglass. According to the owner, it is a prototype for a reproduction where the owner of the company was one of the original designers for Mercedes on the 300SL race car. Supposedly with his connection to Mercedes he was the only reproducer authorized to use the Mercedes Star. Again, this is all information from the customer. Anyway, there have been several other shops that started this project and no one has ever had a team with the caliber of the team at our shop. It will be "Drivable" at Christmas and finished and show ready by spring.
