Mercedes-Benz now offers full iPhone integration Mercedes-Benz announced today that its vehicles will now come with an Apple iPhone cradle that allows the driver to simply switch between the phone and audio functions. The Apple iPhone cradle allows the driver to control the iPhone through the multifunction steering wheel and the vehicle display.
The option also connects your iPhone to your Mercedes’ aerial ensuring perfect reception. And of course the cradle also charges your iPhone so you can continue listening to the songs you have stored on your iPhone without worrying about the battery dying.
The Apple iPhone cradle is available for almost every Mercedes-Benz model except the GL and G-Class. The option will also be offered on the new GLK-Class. The cradle itself retails for €249 ($386) while the adapter leads for the Media Interface iPod is available for an additional €39 ($60).
