Spied: 2013 Mercedes-Benz A-Class
Dashing through the snow is Mercedes-Benz's answer to the A3 and 1-Series

Winter testing is in full swing for Mercedes and our trusty Teamspeed spies are always braving the cold weather to get us the latest scoops. With the camouflage mostly removed from the last batch of spy shots we showed you, we can now see a clearer view of the front-end design. This is also the first time we can clearly see the interior of the A-Class, which looks to be very similar to that of the new B-Class.

Powering the new A-Class will most likely come from a variety of four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. We also hear that Mercedes is planning a more powerful sports version with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four banger the hood. Can an AMG variant be in the works as well? We sure hop so.

We expect the new A-Class to be fully revealed by the end of 2012.

 

Sad thing is, the interior will probably look exactly like that in production form.

 

No it won't mate. It'll look exactly like the production C Class (2012) -which is verrrry nice. (note the SLS style airvents that have been put into production cars)

This car exterior looks like a Volvo.

 

Looks like the much maligned C230 with an extra pair of doors=doomed to failure.

 

Hope they produce a A63 AMG. They said they will produce a hot hatch but it isnt clear on which Class they will base it on.
