Spied: Updated Mercedes-Benz E-Class
Minor changes grace the ever so popular mid-size sedan
Our Teamspeed spies bring us another set of Mercedes images today but this time you'll be hard pressed to see anything new here. We wouldn’t have expected this car to arrive so early – but in fact, here it is: the face-lifted Mercedes E-class.
The E-class will get new fog-lights, forcing the daytime running lights to leave their place in the bumper and move into the main lamp unit (as we expect it to be with the new S-class). The technology of the inner lamps will be modified as well. The rear of the prototype snapped undergoing tests in Germany was unchanged – but we do in fact expect some small corrections there, too. No word yet if power-plants will be updated either.

oh thank God! I HATE the fact there is no front fog light on the new cars and the 2012 E have these GHEY LEDs in the front. (the 2011 was better looking)
Driving one last night the front fog (driving lights) really fill in the area under the head lights- so you can see if little critters run out infront of you!

As I understand it, the E-class has picked up the slack from the discontinued CLK-class. So when are we going to see a successor to the CLK63 AMG Black Series?
